California Trip over Thanksgiving

We were in California over Thanksgiving and we went out to the beach and put our feet in the Pacific Ocean.Megan enjoying an afternoon at the beach.

Something this beautiful deserves two pics. The sun setting over the horizon at Laguna Beach. This was the highlight of the trip for Cal.

Megan standing at the edge of the Pacific Ocean at Corona del Mar Beach. We enjoyed watching a dolphin in the ocean for a few minutes.

On Sunday before returning to Pennyslvania we traveled to the Pacific Ocean and spent several hours at Corona del Mar Beach. It was quite beautiful.

One afternoon we rode the Palm Desert Tram to the top of the mountain. The cable car to the top was definitely an experience. It was also impressive for the views from the top. The temperature differences from Palm Springs in the 70's to the top which was in the 50's was quite noticeable.

The field hockey fields were in a beautiful setting.

Tyler

Tyler on Tiffany's porch in Boston. He spent Thanksgiving with her while Cal, Lorie & Megan were in California. Tyler will be spending his next semester in India with the Cross Cultural Studies program at Eastern Mennonite University, where he is currently a junior math major.

Tiffany

Tiffany, on the right, is pictured with another CPT participant.

Tiffany spent time with Christian Peacemaker Teams in Colombia this past summer. It was a very good experience for her. The picture above is a view of the mountains while she was on a boat trip.

This is a picture taken at Tiffany's college graduation. She is pictured here with her "big" younger brother, Tyler. She majored in English & Criminal Justice and minored in Peace & Conflict Studies and Sociology. Tiffany now resides in the Boston area. She is doing a year of service with City Year in Boston.
